Project summary

Goal

Redesign and redevelop the Camms website to better reflect their expertise in the SaaS and GRC sectors, improve usability, and drive measurable growth in user engagement and conversions.

Contribution

I led the design direction as the Lead Designer, working closely with the project manager and the Camms marketing team. My role spanned UX research, design strategy, UI design, and creation of interactive prototypes that shaped the final build.

The process

UX audit & research

The project began with a detailed UX audit of the existing Camms site and a review of their competition. Navigation was inconsistent, content structure unclear, and visuals failed to convey the sophistication of their platform.

 

The findings informed a clearer, user-focused content hierarchy. Using insights from the audit, I restructured the entire site map to create a simpler, persona-driven navigation. New sector-specific pages were introduced to direct users to relevant content and improve lead quality.

Wireframing & prototyping

I created wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to test layouts, interaction flow, and content hierarchy. The prototype simulated a live experience, allowing for user feedback and refinement before development.

Visual direction & brand refresh

I developed a refreshed visual language for Camms, extending their brand with new colours, icons, and interface styles. The updated palette and graphic system helped modernise their identity while improving readability and consistency across digital touchpoints.

Custom graphics & product visuals

To better showcase their GRC platform, I designed a set of bespoke graphics and modernised product screenshots. These became central to Camms’ online and marketing presence—leading to further design collaborations with the agency.
